Target users: Local Authorities
Local Authorities are important as they are crucial in adopting and implementing e-mobility solutions at a local level. Usually, the local authorities oversee public transport operations and are responsible for procuring services and vehicles for public transport. Local authorities are also responsible for local transport policies that enable the expansion of various mobility services and modes e.g., shared mobility, micro-mobility, e-three wheelers etc.
Local authorities often search for good practices from their peers in embedding e-mobility into the conventional urban mobility spectrum. Enabling policies and frameworks are often sought by city governments. In addition, avenues for financing e-mobility and the synergies that exist from incorporating existing stakeholders will enable local governments to reduce the implementation burden and have a shared responsibility.
